We liked this fairly clean hotel with a nice reception. The room exceeded all expectations, neat with a fridge. The staff was accommodating and amicable, everything was very good.

We loved every detail about our fine 2 nights stay here. Our check-in was good. Our breakfast was savoury and delicious, included cereal, chocolate and cheese.

It's our place to stay when in Reykjavik! The rooms are contemporary with a great view and the overall experience is really really nice.

We had a comfortable stay at Island - Spa & Wellness, and the spa was a great perk. Our room was well-cleaned and had a mini-fridge, safe, and hairdryer. The breakfast had everything we needed, and the restaurant served very tasty food. The staff were friendly, and we appreciated the clean rooms and excellent amenities.

Rooms and food were superb. It was nice having an electronic key card, a work desk and a sitting area. The pool was great and the garden - lovely.

The breakfast definitely should of been included in the price.

I had a fantastic week at this place. The location, slightly out of the center, was perfect for me as I enjoyed the quiet and calmness of being in the business district. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and the room amenities, including the heating and air conditioning, were top-notch. The leisure spa & wellness center was a much-needed treat, and the massage I received was one of the best I’ve ever had.

I would definitely recommend this venue to my family and friends.

One aspect that could be improved was the distance from the city center. It was a bit of a walk, approximately 30 minutes, but luckily there were buses available for those who preferred not to walk.

It was situated in a business district with easy access to all Icelandic restaurants in the area. The staff at the reception desk were incredibly friendly and made all efforts to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The amenities in the room were top-notch, with a flat-screen TV, sitting area, and air conditioning for maximum comfort. The on-site dining restaurant and bar/lounge area provided excellent food and a wide variety of drink options. The buffet breakfast in the morning had a great selection of food, including special diet menus, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste.

We stayed at Hotel Island for a family vacation and it was perfect! The spacious suite with three double beds and a large bathroom was ideal for us. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of Nordic and American options. Access to the spa was such a treat, especially the hot soaking tub and floating pool. The staff were welcoming and went above and beyond to help us, especially the receptionist who ensured our airport transfer arrived on time. The hotel is located near the beautiful botanic gardens and a pleasant walk to the city center.

Despite the downsides, there were a few positive aspects of my stay. the room size was sufficient, not too big or too small. the staff was generally friendly and professional, providing a good customer service experience. the daily room cleaning and the availability of tea and coffee in the room were definitely pluses. Lastly, the value for money was good, considering what I paid for the stay.

We stayed at a hotel 10 minutes away from downtown, located in a peaceful neighborhood. The staff was very welcoming, and our room was modern and tidy, with comfortable bedding. The breakfast offered a great variety of options with quality food. The gym was equipped with good facilities for working out.

Sadly, the restaurant staff could have been more attentive to customers rather than using their phones.
